HGS Productions (HGSP) was formed in 2008. Henry G. Sanders is the founder and president, with nearly forty years in the entertainment business, as an actor, writer and director. The goal

of HGSP is to produce projects that are socially relevant, a

ppeal to a broad audience and on a budget ranging from 200,000 to 500,000.

CARLA was originally developed as a short film (21 mins) in 2008. With the encouragement of many who saw the film, we are making a feature length version. The purpose was and is to raise awareness to the prevalence of sexual assault on women in the military. CARLA tells the story of Sergeant Carla Williamson. she returns home from fighting in Afghanistan to her family with undiagnosed PTSD and a secret of rape by a fellow soldier. The combination of these two stresses ex

acerbated by the attempt to regain her former life with her family, eventually drives her over the edge.

There are over 230,000 women serving in the military. The military and the government aren't doing nearly enough to protect these women and/or bringing their attackers to justice. We have provided several links you can visit for more information.

We have launched Carla on kickstarter. We are near our goal of 200,000 to get the film produced. For those of you who supported us in the past, i am grateful and hope you will do so this time.
